Coq au Vin Blanc (chicken in white wine)


This rustic French classic combines chicken pieces, bacon, baby onions, mushrooms and white wine. Slow cooked on the bone, fills the house with winey, bacon-y chicken deliciousness.

Reheat in microwave or gently on the stove.

Ingredients: Chicken, white wine, mushrooms, carrot, celery, bacon, onion, garlic, olive oil, cornflour, chicken stock, thyme, bay leaf, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Serve with creamy mash potatoes, rice or couscous.
